Chrome Extension Installation

Follow these steps to install the NeatInspo Chrome extension for development.

Step 1: Open Chrome Extensions

Navigate to Chrome's extension management page:

Method 1: Type chrome://extensions/ in your address bar
Method 2: Click the three dots menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top right corner of the extensions page.

Note: This allows Chrome to load unpacked extensions during development.

Step 3: Load Unpacked Extension

After enabling Developer mode, you'll see new buttons appear.

  1. Click the "Load unpacked" button
  2. Download and unzip the Neat chrome extension
  3. Select this new downloaded dist folder.

Step 4: Start Using the Extension

The extension should now appear in your Chrome toolbar.

  • Look for the NeatInspo icon in your toolbar
  • Click the icon to open the extension popup
  • Log in with your NeatInspo credentials
  • Start saving URLs and images from any webpage

Common Issues

Extension not loading?

Make sure you selected the dist folder, not individual files.

Can't find the icon?

Check the extensions menu (puzzle piece icon) in your toolbar.

Login issues?

Ensure you have a valid NeatInspo account and internet connection.
